“We all wear masks.” We’ve all heard that André Berthiaume adage. In psyphology, the peverbial mask serves as protection to base natural desires. This was not the intention with this project.

“teeth don’t bite” dives beyond the Id and uses four characters to explore neurodivergent manifestations: drug dependence, vanity, social anxiety, and communication paralysis.

We approached this film to entertain and delight first and hope our audience will emerge with a bit more joy and a bit more understanding for one another. Lofty goals, yes?

For me, it’s a fun romp through fantastical layers of metaphor to the wonderfully ethereal music of one of the greatest creators of music in the last decade.

I can continue to pontificate, but a reviewer summarized the plot best: “it’s about a stoned, skateboarding yeti having a dream…and in that dream he’s having two daydreams. One of them is about a girl he once knew. The other is about a different girl that looks just like the first one. They and a bunch of other masked weirdos collide and reveal their true selves. It might be a love story, or just interspecies curiosity.”
